I would like to welcome Deb Curry, new member # 419. Deb, I'm sorry that you had trouble with the link, we don't hear that happening too often, sorry 'bout that. We would like to welcome you to our organization and look forward to hearing about your Sackett connections.
I would like to welcome new member, Scindia Cutler, member # 418, to the Sackett Family Association. I hope that you are able to reconnect with your friend, Marion. This group is really great, so if anyplace can help you reconnect it will be here.
This is the first time I have gotten to welcome two members at once. I would like to extend a warm welcome to Ted and Margaret Russell, new members #416 & 417.
You mentioned in your note to Jean the use of the same names in a family. Even though some of our Sackett names are quite unique, it sure doesn't help when the generations use the same combos of unique names, Olive and Ezra for an example. Another confuser is when the family reuses a name when an older child dies. That can really add to a mystery. Don't get me started on names! I hope that you find our organization helpful to you!
I would like to welcome new member Neil Alderman, # 415, to the Sackett Family Association. Since it is summer I think I can blame that on my tardy welcome notice to you, Neil. I can see that Chris has already entered your information on the web site, so all that is left for me to do is to welcome you to our organization.
I know that there are Barbee cousins on the west coast. Unfortunately my source, my mother-in-law, is no longer with us. I do know that they visited there on several occasions. I probably have the parents names but not their children. I did look up to see if I had a Lorraine Barbee in my database, and I didn't. There are always more avenues to venture down, aren't there? Thanks for your note, sorry I took so long to get to it!

Thank you Debbie,
Just curious if you are related to the Barbees in Washington State. There would be a Lorraine (Lorri) who has a twin sister, I can't remember her name???
I would love to come to a family reunion and provide more info on Fritz line.

I also see from the database that Reuban Sackett (our immediate line) signed for the minor, Almeron Sackett (your immediate line). Small world! It seems that Almeron also lived for a time in Sackett's Harbor. That is one place that we have also discussed having a reunion.
