Sarah Ruddell b. May 17, 1781 Hog Island, MI near Detroit; d. aft 1841, New Madrid Co., MO
or AR was my husband's GGG-grandmother. She was the daughter of George Ruddell and
Theodosia Linn/Lynn and the granddaughter of Captain Isaac Ruddle and Elizabeth Bowman.
Sarah was a resident of New Madrid Co., MO at the time of her death and this fact is what
the death place I am listing is based on. However, she was involved along with her other
siblings in the estate settlement of her youngest sister Rebecca Ruddell Harrison in 1841
who was a resident of Batesville, Independence Co., AR, so it is always possible Sarah may
have passed away in AR.

Co., MO and Sarah married John Summers, Jr. (b. 06 Apr 1768 Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland; d.
1834 New Madrid Co., MO) between 1799-1803 New Madrid, MO.
John and Sarah's youngest son William Summers b. 13 Nov 1814 Point Pleasant, LeSieur
