Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Elizabeth and I have been sending out Emails to help update our files,
however many have not been recieved and are returned as User Unknown. So,
apparently many have changed their email addresses and home addresses. If there
is any changes in your Email or Home address how about sending us any changes
so we can update the files. Your prompt reply will be greatly appreciated.
Please note, Ruddell & Martin Stations Historical Stations “Gathering 2006"
will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2006, 9AM, Cynthiana, KY. The location has
yet to be decided, but we will keep you posted. Hope to see you there.

I am working on the Samuel Van Hooks who were in Capt Gatliff's Rangers, and thought I would see if anyone has information on the George Loveless who was captured with them: supposedly Samuel Van Hook's daughter Rachel married a John Loveless.

participated in the Ceremonies and told some wonderful stories. I would recommend

My children's book, BROTHERS OF THE WIND, has gone to the
Publisher. It is the story of the two cheetah brothers at the Cincinnati
Zoo. The publisher has agreed to donate the first 200 copies for the
Cheetah fund. They'll sell for $15 each so that's $3,000, and the money
Is being sent to South Africa where it will be worth $18,000! Not bad
For 5 of my days off during the summer and my time from 11 P.M. to 1 A.M.
For a couple of weeks. They will be available at the Cincinnati Zoo and
On order from me.
