>From Lois Wark:
For those of you who have been worried about Jim Sellars since the war began
and hoping he was out of harm's way, I'm glad to report he's OK. Carolyn
Kent and I received the following message from him today:
Hi Lois and Carolyn,
All is well with me, and I hope to be back home in the next few weeks. I
deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom back in February and have been in
Constanta, Romania, with the special operations forces there. I have flown
into Northern Iraq several times and thankfully all the missions were not too
dangerous. The war is now over and most of us should be back home soon.
Myself and all the other troops are thankful for all the support the American
people have given us. It's a blessing to be a member of the greatest country
in the world.
While I have been busy with the war, I did hear back from the Canadian
Archives and they mailed me 159 pages of the Henry Bird papers. When I get
home I plan on going through these to see what I can learn about the 'ol
captain. Most of these papers are post revolutionary war letters, but they
should shed some light about the man.
Thanks for writing and I'll write more when I return.

Since I have not seen anything on the list from anyone else. I am going to pass some news on to everyone. Our Jim Sellars is deployed in support of the war. I heard from him shortly after things started but have not heard since. If anyone out there has any news please pass it on.
