Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
As of right now, put me on the list. But work may interfere since there's
a June deadline for some things so I won't know definites probably until May.

Greetings to All!
A reminder that Gathering 2003 will be on Saturday, June 28, 2003, at the
4H fairgrounds, Cynthiana. KY. Pleased put this on your calendar and make
plans to attend. As a featured speaker we are fortunate that Jon Hagee has
been able to obtain the services of Mel Hankla who does an outstanding
impersonation of Simon Kenton. He will try to work into his presentation a
first person account as it would have pertained to Ruddell & Martin Stations.
You don't want to miss this. I am told that he is excellent. Again, our
thanks to Jon for arranging the presentation. The Genealogy Swap and gossip
session will begin at 9AM. With Mr. Hankla at about 10:30 AM.
We have had two business meetings planning the reunion and a lot of thought
has gone into our planning. We will have an excellent potluck lunch with
Subway Subs and salads courtesy of Subway, and many deserts. So come and
bring your favorite dish. Please let us know if you plan to attend so
Elizabeth, Martha and the other ladies will know how much food to prepare.
Let us all pray for good weather. We have been lucky so far with our
Your Association, and it is your Association, is continuing to grow and I
stand amazed at what we have accomplished. Hopefully we will have more
exciting news regarding the survey conducted by Nancy O'Malley from the
University of Kentucky. We saw some great artifacts from the Ruddell Fort
site at our last Gathering. If you were not present you missed it. What a
sight to look out on that field and see the red flags where artifacts were
found. This means of course that we now know exactly where the Fort sat. We
saw where the rifle balls fell during the attack. Wow.
Don't forget! Saturday, June 28, 2003, 9AM, 4H Fairgrounds, Cynthiana,
A gentle reminder, at our last reunion the members present voted to have an
annual dues of $15.00 to cover the cost of your Association. These are
payable anytime after the first of January each year. If you haven't already
sent your dues make a check payable to "Ruddell & Martin Stations." Send it
to Ruddell & Martin Stations, % Elizabeth C. Lee, 618 Buckeye Hills Rd,
Falmouth, KY 41040. You will receive a RAMSHA dues card by return mail. If
you make a donation above the annual dues amount you will receive a nice
Certificate of Appreciation to frame and hang on the wall.
I am planning on attending the reunion this year. I would like to have motel info and have we asked for a reunion rate?
