Tommy Angell sailed with Williams in 1630. As near as I can tell, it was
a remarkably nasty crossing, leaving London in December and arriving at
Boston in February. There were only about 20 passengers on that trip. I
have some more data on it somewhere and will forward it when I get a
chance. It was, I believe, Capt. Peirce's first voyage in the Lyon, and
he made it in about a month's less time than the usual crossings.

I too am having trouble finding a full & correct listing of
passengers on "The
Lyon" who sailed to Salem, Mass. around 1636. I was told that my ancestor
"Thomas Angell" sailed here on this ship with Roger Williams. I found Roger
Williams name but not Thomas Angell's. Any help would be appreciated....Judy
