First, let me apoligize for not keeping up with the recent
"traffic" in the
passenger list queries, but the "Thomas Angell on the LYON with Roger
Williams in 1636" caught my eye.
I believe that Roger Williams (and the rest of the passengers) came over on
the LYON in 1630.
Thomas Angell does not appear on Wintrhop's list of passengers on the LYON,
nor does Roger Williams ever mention Thomas Angell as his servant.
There is a very detailed (as much as records allow) chronicle of Thomas
Angell in "The Ancestry of Emily Jane Angell" by Dean Crawford Smith,
published by NEHGS in 1992. If anyone is particularly interested in this,
please let me know and I will scan these several pages tomorrow and I can
either post them to the list or e-mail them individually.
