I am having a problem finding a family for Nathan. He was supposedly born in
East Greenwich on 9 Apr 1781.
He married Huldah, b. 12 Jun 1791 in Kingsbury, Washington, NY, dau. of
Silas Nichols and possibly Ruth Underwood (both formerly from East
Greenwich).

Notes
These Bennetts seem to have come to Blacklick Twp. from Massachusetts in
1824. One source says his parents were Nathan Bennett and Elizabeth
Lewis/Lewes (of MA).
Nathan was a soldier in the War of 1812.
A Nathan Bennett appears on the tax roles of Warrensburg, Warren, NY, in
1814, and in1816. This is the only clue that this Nathan might possibly have
lived in or near Warrensburg
I would appreciate any information about Bennetts in East Greenwich in the
1780's.
