Good evening listers,
Last night I received the (surprise) message below, so I'm posting it
for interested persons who hopefully will recognize some of the
information. I want to thank Erin & Casey so much for picking up one
of my postings and taking the time and effort to try and help me solve
a family mystery. The mystery remains, however, the information they
found also gives me a lot of answers and some new leads as well.
I also want to thank everyone who took time to write me with ideas,
possible clues and encouragement to pursue my quest for answers and
"real" data. Note: I've tried census data I could access online with
no luck. If someone has access to census data from the (US) state of
Ohio for 1930, I'd really appreciate any help you might be able to
give me in trying to trace this BISHOP-HAYMAN family.
Bless you all!
Jacquie Baral (USA) Howard & Margaret's great-granddaughter

Jacquie-
I didn't find your Bishop family in 1937-38 or 1941-46 Akron/Barberton
city directories. But I did find them in 1915 and 1930. The only one
close in 1925 was Harold R.
1915:
Bishop, Harold student res 424 Chittenden
Howard E (Margaret J.) carpenter 424 Chittenden
Georgina res 424 Chittenden
1930:
Bishop, Harold L. (Dorothy B. ) clk The M. O'Neil Co. h. 1136
Belleflower Rd.
You must have found them in the census already, but just in case.
Here's from the 1920 soundex:
(v. 196 ed 27 sheet 13 line 93) Summit County, Sawyerwood St:
Bishop, Howard E. (47) b. Canada
Margaret J. (49) b. Canada
Georgina M. (23) b. Mass
Harold L. (19) b. Mass
