household goods, improvement of cattle and rest of personal. To son Ebenezer, land and
ten shillings. To son John, homestead farm, and ten shillings. To daughter Mary POTTER,
wife of Wiliam, 20 lb. To daughter Abigail CASE, wife of John, 50 lb. To daughter
Mehitable CORNELL, wife of William, 20 lb. To daughter Joanna FISHER, wife of John, 50
lb. To daughter Hope PHILLIPS, wife of James, 20 lb. To daughter Susanna BOYCE, wife of
Benjamin, 50 lb. To daughter Elizabeth FISH, 80 lb and best bed. To daughter Sarah
ARNOLD, wife of Anthony, 50 lb. To four grandchildren, viz: Sarah, William, John and
Thomas PHILLIPS, children of my daughter, Alice PHILLIPS, deceased, 50 lb. equally divided
at age. To grandson Thomas PHILLIPS, all interest in undivided land at Dartmouth. To
grandson Joshua RATHBONE, son of my daughter, Patience RATHBONE, deceased, 50 lb. If
maintenance for wife be insufficient, she to have further provision made for her.
Inventory, 721 lb, 1s. 1d. viz: bonds 541 lb, 1s. 7d., books, pewter, 2 cows, a swine, 4
fowls, spinning wheel, &c.
