Ann Slocum, daughter of John Slocum (b1682l tO 17400) married Isaac Gould of Newport
February 26, 1732.
Ann Slocum, b. Oct. 1748, daughter of Hon. Giles Slocum, b. 1713and Susannah Brownell,
married January 10, 1790, Thomas Gould, son of John Gould (?)
Phebe Slocum,born November 13, 1761, daughter of Giles Slocum 5 and Mary Taylor of Little
Compton and Middlesex, married October 5, 1782, Thomas Gould, son of Thomas and Alice
Gould.
Hon. Samuel Slocum 5 born in 1711 and lived in North Kingston, R.I. , Married in 1733, Ann
Gould.
Sarah Slocum, daughter of Jessie Slocum 6 and Elizabeth Burch(his 2nd wife, married
Michael P. Gould and removed to Iowa. Children;
Isaac, m. and died in the West; 2. Louise married George Clark and lived in Rochester,
N.Y.; 3. Dudley; 4. Harriet, m.Zephi Metcald; 5. laura Ann; 6. Phillip;
7. Joseph(6 && both ministers. 8. Elizabeth m. Jerome Pell;9. Roswell; 10. Abigail

Giles Slocum 7, b. May 26, 1789, So Portsmouth married Feb.9, 1815, Mary Gould daughter of
Thomas and Phebe (Slocum) Gould. Mary was born July 27, 1792
Daniel Slocum 7, b. Duchess Co., N.Y. 1788 (?) married Susan Gould who resided in St.
Lawrence Co., N.Y.
George Slocum 8, b. Portsmouth, R.I. May 28, 1804 was married July 5, 1827 to Susan Gould
of Middletown and they later removed to Newport
Grace Evelyn Slocum, b. June 17, 1866 in Exeter Tp., R.I. and daughter of John Slocum 9
and Susan Pratt of West Greewich, married Capt. Alphonso Gould, November 3, 1880.
