Hi Pete
I am assuming that you are a newbie at genealogy, so why don't you answer
the following questions, so that the people on this list may be able to help
you.
1) If she is your step-mother, who did she marry, and when and where?
2) What are the names of the children, and do you know where/when they were
born?
3) How do you know her maiden name? Do you have a marriage certificate?
The more information that you can provide, the easier it is for us to help
you.

Subject: [RIGENWEB] Hanley
Hi Friends:
I'm looking for info on my step-mother: Maria (nee Fanning) Hanley and
her two children: Mary-Ann and Patrick who came to the U.S. via England
about 1869 after Maria's husband, (possibly Martin) died she left,
pregnant with her third child. With them was a 30 year old relative
(probably a brother-in-law) named John Hanley.
