I guess I'll put in my pitch, since I am list manager for the Sherman
list and I help with the SOY (Sherman's of Yaxley) web pages. The links are:

All are welcome - spelling variations included. The name was originally
spelled Shearman and not all lines dropped the "A". To quote the SOY site:
"Most Shermans Of Yaxley Family History Society (SOY) members are in
some way “connected” to this ancient family SHERMAN or SHEARMAN from
Yaxley, England. We are unique in that we stay in touch with each other
via our computers with internet e-mail, snail-mail, and through our
paper Newsletter. We SHARE OUR DATA with those just starting their
family trees. We use this medium as just ANOTHER RESOURCE to exchange
information. Learning about your personal family history can be fun."

Each one of you, with Sherman Ancestors, should be on the Sherman of

Art Cohen, has indeed, the largest database on this family.
To take a look at some of the information, just go to your search engine and
type in Shermans of Yaxley.
