Do you know if this Samuel and Betsy had a son name Sanford. I do not
know if he had a second name or not. He was born in 1773. He married
Mary King from Ease Greenwich.
Thanks,
Donna in NC

In my ancestry I have a Samuel Pearce (or Pierce) b. 1732/33 in
Little Compton. He married Betsey Simmons. They are buried in
Warren. Betsey descends from Mayflower passengers John Alden,
Priscilla and William and Alice Mullins, and from Richard
Warren. Betsey and Samuel had a 9 children including a son named
Samuel - b. 1764 in Little Compton. He died in Plainfield CT in
1793. He was married to Ruth Martin. My ancestor is his sister
Phoebe (Phebe) who married Isaac Cole Jr.
Could those be the ones you want?
