Would appreciate guidance and suggestions to find more family
information on Joseph INMAN, Born: 1764 c - Died 31 Oct. 1846
and buried in the No. Smithfield, RI area. According to the
Cemetery Index "NS015 " this was called the "INMAN Lot" and the
cemetery has 15 burials with 4 inscriptions dated 1844 - 1846
recorded in Vol 25, pages 290-291 and transcribed on 24 April
1908 by James N. Arnold.
We are hoping to find Joseph INMAN's wife name and his
children's names. Recently this list helped us find my husband's
ggg-grandfather Stephen INMAN marriage certificate to Amy ESTEN
and the certified copy we just received listed Stephen INMAN's
father's name as Joseph INMAN of Smithfield, RI. The Joseph
INMAN above would have only been 15 years old when our Stephen
was born on 23 Aug. 1779 - could that be possible?
Thank you all.
