Might I recommend a wonderful collection of Civil War Photos. I purchased
this set about 10 years ago and have used it often. Most of the photos have
the people identified, even group photos and it is indexed!!!!! "The
Photographic History of the Civil War" in 10 Volumes. I picked it up at
Costco-(when it was still Price Club) for $49. Would be glad to do a few
lookups for folks, just contact me direct with your request and put "Lookup"
on your subject line so I don't delete without reading .<BG>

Sir Yes they did!.... and you may want to check with the Newport Train of
Artillery
about the possibity of Pictures if any were taken ..But, at the time of the
Civil War
the taking of Militia Pictures for the"Folks Back Home" was a "BIG
DEAL" so
you might
want to try there museum or the Varum Museum in East Greenwich...Gil Bagley
