I have been requested to send this to all RCD and LdSH (RC) Association Members by Blake
Skippen.
Bill Logan, would you please insure that this gets out on the Strathcona Net. Thanks, Tom
Horgan
It is unfortunate that I have to pass on some bad news concerning Capt Jim Roberts. Jim
has been diagnosed with colon cancer and it has spread to his liver and lungs. He is
resting at home but is having his good and not so good days. The plan is to start his
treatment 19 Dec. if they can insert the catheter successfully. Angie of course is not
having an easy time with all this but she does have a lot of support she can call on at
any time.
It may not be a good idea to call them for a while until the dust settles, however a card
or e-mail might be nice. ( robertsjim(a)hotmail.com) or (roberts-a(a)rmc.ca) 20 Biscayne,
Kingston, Ont. K7K 7J9
I will keep you informed and up to date by this means if there is any change in Jim's
situation. Nola and I visited with Jim & Angie the other day and I talked with Jim on
the phone last night so this info is up to date. We all hope that next sit-rep you get
will be all good news.
Frank, please send this out on the 8CH net, Tom, could you look after RCD & LDSH, and
Paul if you could look after the military as we discussed, that should cover it.
