Subject: Sitrep on Capt Jim Roberts
I just received this from Angie regarding Jim Roberts current condition. It
does appear that he is coming around now that his medication has been
changed. I will keep you posted on any changes as they come up.
Frank, please send this out on the 8Ch net, Norm on RCD and Paul on your
net.
Thanks, Skip

friends,
things have been rather hectik over the last three days; I am beat but want
to let
you know quickly how things went...
Well, we got there on Monday for 10.30 a.m. and thought that we would
be
taken in right away. Mistake # 1, finally at 2.30p.m. Jim was called in, I
found out that blood test results have to be available first... As soon as
the treatment started, Jim got major sick and vomited big time. During the
night he fell nausiated and vomited all night and yesterday right through to
this morning. I finally called the hospital as we had to go in for another
appointment anyway and they told us to come in right away, so in we went.
Naturly he was badly dehydrated, the staff took good care of him though and
switched him to another medicine for his nausea. We also have now a nurse on
standby in case he gets sick again. He is resting now doing a little bit
better and I am hoping and praying that his condition will improve over the
next days. Due to the fact that the military and civilian hospital/health is
involved, it took a while to have everything in place and running; for
example we did
not know that we could have called a nurse last night, which could
have
given him an injection and probably would have improved his condition, but
we know now and hopefully the next treatment will not be as eventful.
I will keep you all updated as his condition deems, and again many
thanks
for your thought and prayers.
Ron or Blake, would you plse call Biff and Jon for me as I am sure I
have
Biff's old e-mail address and it is no longer good...
your friends
