Tom:
Thanks for the quick response, if I don't get a chance before you go, SAFE
JOURNEY, and I will hoist a glass on your behalf on the 7th June. I have
been invited to stay with Phil Whitehead while in Ottawa, and both of our
wives are on other tasking so we will be on the loose for the week end.
[Keep checking the Ottawa Citizen for further details..hahahah]
It looks at the moment like Phil will become the next Chapter Chair of the
Kingston and Region Chapter in May.
He has recently retired from the Civil Service, so now it is time for him to
go to work.
We are not putting a team in Ironsides this year, as we are all getting to
old! Clive Milner has been diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer; its a slow
growth, and he is yet undecided what he is going to do about it. Shirley has
come through her chemo for her breast cancer, and at the moment is clear,
and does not go back to the doctor till late this summer.
Dave Henderson is continually plagued with chronic back problems, Murdoch is
too busy, Ron Allt is in bad shape with many ailments, and I am too lazy.
Sharon Graham has breast cancer and will undergo double mastecomamy soon.
She is taking it real well.
That is the news for now, unfortunately it sounds like the CBC, nothing
good!
As I said Tom, enjoy the trip, be safe and keep in touch.
Bold and Swift [always]
Cheers
Biff

Biff, waiting for the Air Farce to publish the flight schedule for
May
(like ya would). I'm still expecting to depart mid-May. Would love to be
at the 125th, but will miss the party.
Cheers
Thomas
