Details of Reg Munden’s passing

MUNDEN, Reginald "Reg" Phillip January 31, 1931 – Petites, Newfoundland October
18, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Reginald 'Reg' Munden beloved husband of Margruite of
Calgary, passed away on October 18, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Reg was born in Petites,
Newfoundland. He dedicated 15 years in the military service for the Royal Canadian
Dragoons (RCD) and Lord Strathcona Horse. Reg was later head of housekeeping for the
Rockyview General Hospital. Reg's favorite activities included church choirs, reading,
music, travelling, gatherings with family and friends, and sports fan (Les
Canadiens/Saskatchewan Roughriders). He was involved with various United Church
committees, coached in Calgary's Juvenile AA hockey league, Drop In Centre as a board
member and was the president of the Western Chapter of RCDs. What was most important to
Reg was his family, faith and friends. Besides his loving wife Marg Munden of 63 years,
Reg is survived by his children, Debra Nelson (Rick), Peter Munden (Colleen), Gale Baki
(Hani), and Bill Munden; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is also
survived by his two sisters and two brothers. Funeral Services will be held at McDougall
United Church (8516 Athabasca Street S.E.) on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
