Well Norm, as sad as that report is; He certainly departed on a glorious day
in Dragoon history .I just delivered my Dragoon sweatshirt to the Fort
frances Museum where they have quite a remembrance day display, I informed
them of the importance of 7 November 1900; lang may we reign. Gord

Subject: [DragNet] Fallen Comrade....JACK H.BINNS
very sorry to report the death this morning of JACK BINNS - 7 Nov
2012......the last of the Binns brothers who served many years in the
Royal Canadian Dragoons. Jack suffered from Parkinson's and it finally did
him in.
His brother Eric passed away in Oct 2010 a veteran of D Sqn in Korea.
The whole family of Binns (Jack,Eric, Flo and Edith) have left a great
bunch of children who we remain in contact with. We will always remember
the last 60 years of Regimental family ties....and will attend a Memorial
service to be held 24 Nov at Bridges funeral home in Angus Ont,
daughter Flo Binns resides in Barrie at 47 Porritt St L4N 6Y3
