Hi Sharon
I am interested in your VAUGHANs from Nantmel. My 3g-gf William VAUGHAN may
have been born in Radnorshire (the 1851 census is the only evidence I have
for this - his farm's entry in Geotre, Mon from the 1861 was lost - darn
it). He was born in about 1793 and, according to another researcher, may be
the son of William and Elizabeth VAUGHAN of Nantmel, baptised there 22 Oct
1796. I have not yet had the opportunity to view the Nantmel registers so
this is all second hand and speculative. I wonder, however, given your
Nantmel VAUGHAN interest, if you have any information about this family that
might help me to get more clues about this.
Cheers
Hugh Vaughan Wallis

Subject: [POWYS] MORRIS, MILLS, VAUGHAN
Hello all,
I haven't posted my interests in quite a while, so thought I'd update them
for new subscribers.
MORRIS - Nantmel, Cefnllys area of Radnorshire
MILLS - all of Radnorshire
VAUGHAN - Nantmel and Newchurch, Radnorshire
CROWTHER - Llandegley, Radnorshire
HUGHES - Llandegley, Radnorshire
I'll happily share information with anyone researching these names. Also,
don't forget to use the Mid Wales Lookup Exchange, as I have Census info
available for Radnorshire.
Cheers,
Sharon
