Ann,
There's probably someone who can explain this in more detail than I --
however, the entries in the IGI you've been finding have been submitted by
those individuals who are (if their research is correct) related or
descended in some way to the people in the events. Those entries are
differentiated from the entries obtained directly from the Bishop's
Transcripts of baptisms, marriages, etc. There may be a way for you to
contact the individuals -- you should inquire at your local LDS Family
History Centre. Please do not take those entries as positive proof without
checking the original sources yourself.
Regards,
Julie Preston

Subject: Elizabeth Morgan JONES/Edward ROUECHE
Hello again Alison
I've been wanting to ask this question for ages, and perhaps you or
someone
can help. Do you know who on earth Elizabeth Morgan JONES and/or
Edward
ROUECHE are, who appear as IGI "relatives" for so many families -
including
Morgans at Abercynithon and Cwmrhybin, Jones at Cefnperfedd, and
Merediths
at Maes-Y-Cwm and Erwhelem.
They were certainly long lived, as they're on records from 1704 to 1823
that
I've noticed!
Ann
