Hi everyone hope someone can smash this brick wall for me
I am trying to trace a will of a Richard DOWNES the problem is its a
tad early
he died at Haughton Grange Llandysilio May 10th 1924
prior to his death he split the farm between his Sons.and we always
thought he hadn't left one because of this. HOWEVER on finding old
papers It appears he did..
letters dated in the 1930's to a Mr Treheame inquiring whether he was
acting for the trustees of R Downes deceased another to the inland
revenue another to the Record keeper probate another sent to Mrs S
Downes the executer (his wife)
A lot of trust money went awol........ and we wanted to find out a
bit more
