I'm forwarding this message from Reg Davies to anyone within reach of
London (and apologies to the rest of you)
Next London Welsh Family History Meeting:
Saturday 16 November at 2.00pm at the Society of Genealogists, Charterhouse
Buildings, Goswell Road, London, (not far from the Barbican Tube station).
Speaker : Professor David Howell of Univeristy college of Wales, Swansea.
Topic: The Rebecca Riots.
Professor Howell is probably the authority on this topic and is an
outstanding speaker. Do come to hear about the sort of lives your Welsh
antecedents lived in the early 19th century. Was your ancestor striking a
blow for freedom or an anti-social vandal ?
Why not couple the lecture with some early Christmas shopping in London !
Reg Davies
Secretary of the London Branch of the Welsh Family History Societies.
