Hi Dennis,
The Nant yr Heliog you refer to in the MGY 1851 should be
Nant yr Hebog or Hawkbrook, and is both the name of a farm and also a group
of cottages on the riverbank (Severn) nearby. It is just outside the hamlet
of Glan y nant. The farm is marked on the current Explorer 214 map but the
cottages are not named but shown off the lane leading from Tycoch. The name
has obviosly been incorrectly transcribed and b become l and i on the CD.
There was a flannel mill further downstream at Cae'ncoed and possibly Edward
was employed there.
Cheers.

Hi Gareth,
Your Edward George, 36, Fuller, was at Nant yr Heliog in the MGY 1851
census,
with
Elizabeth, 32, wife, of Trefeglwys
Elizabeth, 17, dau
John, 6, son
I hope this is what you need? Other Georges are also listed locally.
I think the address was in Llangurig, and some Cleatons and others also
worked there.
Regards,
Dennis Cleaton, Rads, Powys
