According to the IGI, David & Margaret Powell had children Ann; Hannah and
Thomas baptised Cefnllys in 1821; 1822 and 1824 respectively, but no sign of
Sussan, Elizabeth or Emmah, suggesting they lived elsewhere before and after
the three mentioned were baptised. As all ages for adults (over 15) were
rounded down to the nearest 5 years in the 1841 census, this would have been
spot on for Ann and Thomas who would have been 19 and 17 respectively.
Hannah however should have been 18, but many such mistakes were made in the
early censuses. This is 5 years out for your Hannah, may be the family had
moved out of Radnorshire by the time of 1841 census.

Can anyone help please? I am looking for HANNAH POWELL, b c1827, in
Radnorshire.
The only Hannah Powell on the 1841 census was a female servant at Upper
Penfonen, Cwmbrydd, Cefnllys. Hannah married in London in 1859 and the
certificate certificate states that her father was WILLIAM POWELL, farmer,
and the witnesses were DAVID and AGNES SCOTT POWELL, possibly a brother and
sister-in-law. I am not sure if Hannah was still in Radnorshire in 1851.
Any help would be much appreciated.
