Yes sorry I meant to say church records, this is getting so frustrating I
have tried the records for Deffynog but with no luck. Is there more than one
church and maybe some chapels in the surrounding area which they might have
attended. Can anyone on the list tell me where I might find such
information.

Surely you mean a marriage and baptism entry in a parish register.
You will not obtain any birth or marriage certificates for any of the
family as civil registration only began in the third quarter of 1837.
If Mary was 4 at the time of the 1841 census (6 June) then she would
have been born between 6 June 1836 and 6 June 1837 and so even she is
very unlikely to have her birth registered in the third (Sep) quarter
of 1837.
