I recently visited Belgium and France to look for wargraves of relatives
and also the areas where they were fighting during WWI. Although I was
interested mainly in the Royal Warwickshire’s, being a local lad, I kept
noticing graves for the KSLI, so I photographed those I noticed, and
before I get swamped with enquiries, only the following!!!
From Savy, Nr St Quentin - DRURY H; BENBOW J.W; HOLROYD S & TOTTERDALE
S.W.
From Seraucourt Le Grand, Nr St Quentin – The 3 “Soldier’s of the Great
War”
From St Sever Extn, Rouen – ALDRED E; EDWARDS F.J; JAMES Eric Gwynne
DSO; MULLARD W.J; ROGERS W & WEBB F.
From Trefcon, Nr St Quentin – ARNDELL C.H; CAMPBELL H; EVANS A.A; GWILT
T; HALE R; HOLLOWAY R; LEWIS T.H; LLOYD W.H; MUSSON R.H; NEATE F; PERRIN
L; POWELL A; WALKER H & WRIGHT E.
From Tourgeville, Nr Deauville – LEATHER, J.F (Book says KSLI, headstone
shows RASC?); ORRELL G.E (Army Gymnastic Staff, but I noticed his
parents were from Bayston Hill, Nr Shrewsbury)
Also I have low quality images of all the KSLI names on the Menin Gate
at Ypres and also the KSLI from Thiepval Monument.
Sorry but if your name isn’t in the above list then I didn’t spot them,
so I haven’t got them, but if anyone would like copies emailing to them,
then drop me an email directly, they are around 300K in size each. For
most cemeteries I have also got a general view which I will include.
