Hi there,
just found this mail. It seems to have gone into a different folder for some
reason?
I hope you did not think i has ignoring you. I would be interested in
details of this history of Bethlehem. I have a half page history from a
manuscript I found in the gwent records Office. I have always been told that
the chapel has no early records as one of the old ministers took them with
him when he left!!!! However i have been told that they have members lists
and minute books from the very early days.
Regards
Andrew Vollans

Subject: [POWYS] re- Bethlehem, Maesygwartha, Llanelly
Hello Andrew,
I answered your other request in last mail but I am interested what you
have on Bethlehem in Maesygwartha, history, etc. I believe we have a
copy of the history of Bethlehem in our Ebbw Vale branch library but
will have to check.
It will be nice to have some information on Bethlehem. I try to keep as
much information as I can on Blaenau Gwent (Blaina, Nantyglo,
Abertillery, Tredegar, Ebbw Vale) and also the bordering Breconshire
parishes Llangattock, Llanelly and Llangunidr. I also support Brynmawr
Historical Society and Brynmawr Museum and always send a copy of what I
have to the latter.
I think it would be nice to find any ancestors in the Clydach area.
Currently the local newspaper is the Gwent Gazette. Write to the editor.
Also Jeff Thomas's Brynmawr site at:-

Also the Brynmawr scene which I believe is run by Sue Ball of Brynmawr:-
