The best large scale maps of the area are some 1950 1:25000 maps on the
National Library of Scotland website which are linked from here:

I posted the message below in 2005, I mention some replies that I received
to a message I posted in 2003.
All the census entries from 1841 to 1871 seem to be close to Maesmynis and
Neuadd Sharmon - going by adjacent entries in the census.
I think I saw Tebath on one of the old maps but can't see now so perhaps it
is Ty Bach which is close to Neuadd Sharmon.
It was suggested that Shap Agave was Shopgrove but don't know if that was
found on a map or just a suggestion. From the image I am sure it is
mistranscribed but think what it could be it. It is at:
1851 Census
Thomas EVANS age 48
Margret EVANS age 53
Both born Llysdinam
Piece: 2488
Folio: 316
Page: 13
FindMyPast have repeated mistranscribed 'Maesmynis' as 'Llanynis' on many
censuses.

I noticed some discussion about Maesmynis. I previously asked about some
addresses associated with my family so will try again whilst there are some
people reading with knowledge of the area.
Name: Thomas EVANS-[3881]
Sex: M
Birth: Abt 1803 - Llysdinam, Breconshire
Death: After 1871
4. He appeared on the census 6 Jun 1841 in Tebath, Maesmynys,
Breconshire. Age 35
7. He appeared on the census 30 Mar 1851 in Shap Agave, Maesmynys,
Breconshire. Age 48
10. He appeared on the census 7 Apr 1861 in Glanrhydttong, Maesmynys,
Breconshire. Age 68
13. He appeared on the census 2 Apr 1871 in Glandior 2, Maesmynis,
Breconshire, Wales. Age 68
I suspect that Tebath might be Ty Bach and did identify a nearby farm and it
was suggested that Shap Agabe is Shopgrove. There was a Glandwr alongside
Shopgrove so that is probably Glandior. So just Glanrhydttong to find.
The family was Thomas EVANS with wife Margaret (born about 1798 Llydinam)
and children Thomas, Mary, Sarah and Daniel.
