Multiple early OS maps for Wales are online, though not through an
intuitive interface.

I just want to check if there are any decent old online maps of
Breconshire
(or to buy). Here in Scotland we have the 1st and 2nd Edition OS Maps
online and some counties in England have their maps online. But not found
any good ones of Breconshire so far apart from
http://www.old-maps.co.uk/index.html which does not have anything before
1889.

Some useful information but very dark.
The 1st Edition 1" is there but not the 6" or 25" which is what I really
need. I am interested in the Maesmynis area so probably only 6" available.
THE National Library of Wales don't seem to have any range of maps available
and neither to Powys Archives (as far as I can see).
Also checked the maps on COFLEIN which are handy for present day large scale
maps.
I think I have asked this before some years ago but things have improved
online over the years so just checking in case I have missed any.
I am hoping to come back from Devon through Wales in a couple of weeks time
and would like another try to find some of the places that part of my family
lived. At the moment I think I might start off by going into Llandrindod
Wells to the archive to study their maps.
