Thanks I had forgotten about Visions of Britain and been accessing their
maps through

But that can be awkward at times and easier going direct.
Still looking at People's Collection Wales, odd site that never seems to do
what I want!
As I mentioned, we are rather spoilt for choice with online maps in Scotland
