Dear Listers,
Those of you involved in transcribing place-names for the
Cymru1900Wales.com
mapping project may be interested to read the response (copied below) that I
received yesterday to a message I'd sent to Tom Pert in which I expressed
concerns about a number of serious problems with the website and the project
in general.
It remains to be seen whether any action will result.
Kind regards,
John

Hi John,
Thanks for getting in touch again.
I completely understand and sympathise with your frustration, and agree with
the problems you have listed with the current user experience.
My colleagues and I will be organising a new work plan with the developer to
ensure that all the things you and others have identified as problematic get
fixed as soon as possible.
When there is progress to report I will contact all users that have
previously emailed me.
Best wishes,
Tom.
