Upper Gore would have be in Wales . In the Parish of Old Radnor which is in Hereford
Diocese. Parish records at Powys Archives
There was also Gore Independant chapel. The IGI have the records up till about 1837. None
of your Williams seem to be listed. The chapel does have it's own graveyard although
the chapel itself is now a quarry workshop.
Registration District at that time.

Subject: [POWYS] (RAD) Upper Gore
The 1841 census listing for my WILLIAMS Family lists their residence as
Upper Gore. I didn't find Upper Gore listed on England/Wales Place Names
website. I did find a Upper Gore FM (farm?) on an online map. The map
didn't show the border between Radnor and Hereford.
In 1841, in which county would this farm be located and where would BMD
records be registered?
Jim
