Hi Tomi,
My line is Henry Morgan. Maybe your Lewis' and my Morgan's knew each other.
Yes, I have used Blair County Genealogical Society. They have put out a lot
of helpful books and were very helpful when I visited them in 2005.

Subject: [POWYS] Henry Lewis in Altoona, PA
Hello Lona,
I see you had a Henry Lewis in Johnstown and Altoona areas of PA. I too
have
Lewis families in those areas - particularly Hollidaysburg, PA just
near
Altoona. My Henry Zacharia Lewis was born in Aberystruth in 1841, also a
miner. His father, Henry Andrew Lewis, was either born in Breconshire or
Hereford around 1810, I believe, and married Mary Prosser of Breckonshire.
I
haven't made my Lewis connections yet, so am always interested in
others
searching the name.
Have you looked at the Blair County Genealogical Society for information
on
your Lewis family? I know there are a number of people researching
the
Lewises of the area.
Best regards,
Tomi
