Shirley,
You're quite welcome -- glad to help. In 1851, the census was taken on Sunday, March
30th. In 1861, it was Sunday, April 7th, for whatever that information may be worth ;-)
Suggest you send directly to the Supt. Registrar, Newtown, for Caroline's birth
certificate. You didn't mention whether she was living with her grandparents in 1861
without her parents -- she could just as easily turn out to be an illegitimate daughter of
Luena Tudor as the offspring of either William or Edward (or yet another unknown brother
or sister) but obviously the same family.
Good luck!
Regards,
Julie Preston

Hi Julie
Thank you ever so much for all that information - it's great! I did send another
P.S. last night when I realised I hadn't mentioned that in 1861 Caroline was 10 years
old, so it was possible she would not be on 1851, but worth a look because census ages can
be out by one or two years.
These Tudors continue to give me the runaround - Many thanks once again Julie.
Kind regards Shirley
