Angela, Malcolm et al,
According to an article by Alan Titchmarsh in the Radio Times this twelve
part series shows five people working on a farm near Chepstow. All five are
historians, archaeologists or people who actually know about early farming
methods and they will be there for a year. They will be working the fields
and looking after the livestock as well as preserving and cooking all their
own food using only traditional methods and tools.
I am sure it will be well worth watching although I think farming in
Chepstow would have been much easier that in remote parts of Powys where my
ancestors lived off the land. Chepstow is very close to the border with
England so I wonder if it would be typical of a Welsh farm. Malcolm, at
least the workers will be able to spell the name!!
Regards,
Margaret Harvey

This is on Friday evening. Below are a couple of links, with further links
within
them. However, it doesn't give much detail on the location. Maybe you
have to watch it - or they just couldn't spell it? :-)
