I have a lot of data on Andrew Scott and his family who originally came from

living here in Rhayader and the Elan Valley.

Subject: [POWYS] Elan Valley dams - John Scott Contractor
Some of my family PAYNE and GOLDBY were working in this area and
living at
Elan Village in the early 1900s. One further names has just come up -
John
SCOTT - a contractor from Darlington who I know worked in northern
England
and Liverpool and I am wondering if he (and his men) worked on any of the
Elan Valley dams
