HI Heather,
It would be quite likely that they are in Brychgoed as well. It is a popular
and quite large chapel burial ground and has links with Libanus Chapel (same
denomination and Libanus was built by members of Brychgoed.) It is possible
that there wasn't a stone there or it is no longer visible.
I have Baptisms for Brychgoed from 1775 onwards. Give me the names of Morgan
and Cecilia's children and their dob's and I'll see if I can find Baptisms
for them there. It would establish the family connection with Brychgoed.

please?
Hi Hilary
Yes, I have still got your email I thought I would try again as time has
past and more MI's have been recorded. It is possible thay they are buried
ib Brychsoed Chapel I found the grave of Morgan Jonestheir son &his wife
Mary nee Price there thanks to Gareth Jones but could not located a grave
for Cecilia & Morgan Jones.
Thanks for checking
Regards
Heather

I did a Breconshire wide search of Parish Burials for Cecilia and Morgan
Jones, using the dates you have given and they do not come up.
There is not a visible grave for them in Congregational Chapel, Libanus nor
in any other Chapel yard in the Defynnog and Libanus, areas. If they have
been buried in a chapel yard, there may not be a grave stone at all or no
longer visible. Burial records for chapels are very much hit and miss!
You are correct about Baddege Farm (normal spelling).
Heather, I gave you quite a comprehensive answer to this question in 2010.

Dear members
Does anyone have the burial register for Devynnock Parish Church, please? I
am searching for the burial place of Cecilia Jones who died on 27 August
1850 aged 87 years at Bathaga Modrydd. I think this is a farm or a place in
the parish of Llanspyddyd near Libanus.
Morgan Jones a shoemaker by trade and Cecilia's husband died on 17 February
1847 at Libanus Hamlet of Glyn. They may be buried at Libanus Chapel burial
ground or at Devynnock Parish Church grounds.
Does anyone have any idea where else they may have been buried, please?
All the best
Heather
