Dear Listers,
This gentle reminder applies only to those of you who receive your messages
in the form of plain text digests (without attachments).
I'd like to remind you that when replying to List messages you should
include in your reply only that part of the digest to which your reply
refers.
Each digest actually carries its own 'health warning':
---------Quote-----------
When replying to a digest message, quote only the specific message to which
you are replying, removing the rest of the digest from your reply.
Also, remember to change the subject of your reply so that it coincides with
the message subject to which you are replying.
--------Unquote---------
Following this advice will ensure that the content of your reply e-mail is
both short and relevant. It can then be read quickly and downloaded quickly
and cheaply by those of us still using dial-up internet connections.
Many thanks,
John
