Might she have died at the address of one of her children - if you have
those addresses would the Registrar be able to at least bring the list down
to a manageable / affordable number?

Subject: [POWYS] Elizabeth Humphreys death
Hi,
I am having such a tough time trying to find the death certificate or
burial
of my 3rd gt grandmother.
I initially wrote to the local RO but they couldn't find a death for her.
So I did the usual GRO and they had about 8 Elizabeth Humphreys for the
time
frame 1861-1871.
She is on the census with her hubby up until the 1871 when they are both
gone.
Lewis died 15 Feb 1871 at the same residence and I have his death
certificate.
She died between the two census as she is on the 1861 census.
I know she was living at Tynyrwtra (a farm) in Berriew through all the
census records from 1841-1861
and was married to Lewis Humphreys.
The GRO have informed me, after giving them all the references to check
for
the 8 women.
that they have two Elizabeth Humphreys with husbands named Lewis, but the
addresses are not corresponding to the address I have.
How can I now determine her death?
