Hi, This could also be "fuller" ie in the wool and cloth trades, ehere they
made the cloth more compact through shrinking and pressing with the use of
fuller's earth to absorb the oils from the wool. Pob Hwyl. Tom

Subject: [POWYS] Occupation "Filler"
Hi,
In researching my family I find "filler" listed as an occuption on some of
documents. Researching I find a filler worked in a 'iron works', but not
sure
what they "filled". Could someone expand on the work a filler did?
Thanks Jim Jones
