Hi, It could be that they were blast furnace fillers, but the term "filler"
would have been qualified with "blast furnace" or "coke oven" etc. The
term
"fuller" was explaination enough by itself.We must remember that industrial
and pastotial work often in the days of the early industrial rev went hand

Thanks for your replies. I think filling a blast furnance applies to my
ancestor. I know he lived in Beaufort BRE, where there were iron works,
and later
in Old Radnor he is listed as working as a burner in a lime works.
