Dear John B
It is a relief to see that the disruption to your "normal service" is not
caused by ill health, although moving home is stressful enough. We too have
our house on the market, and the auction is tomorrow, so I have a little
appreciation of what you must be going through.
All the best to you as you go through this disruption! I will not be alone
in anticipating your full return to informing and enthusing people about
Wales and our shared ancestry!
Kind regards
John H

Thanks for the response Julie. For the first time, I didn't receive John

Images of Wales, so I wondered if something had gone wrong with the list, or
my settings. Evidently not, though I did miss John! =======================
Dear John,
Thank you for your concern.
The reason you've not seen any messages from me lately is because I've been
otherwise occupied. I am in the process of selling my home and moving, and
have therefore not had time even to keep up with the fairly low level of
recent list traffic. Two days ago, I posted the following explanatory notice
on the 'Website News' feature on my website.
---------------
I am in the process of selling my home in Ystalyfera and moving to a
different location in South Wales. Sometime in June, I will be moving from
my present home into temporary accommodation. By the end of July I expect to
have moved again into longer term temporary accommodation, but it will be
the autumn, or possibly even next year, before I am finally settled at a
permanent new address.
Because of this disruption, I will not be able to update and maintain my
website as frequently or as regularly as usual over the coming months. In
particular, the updating of my 'Weather in Wales' feature is likely to be
very erratic. However, during this period of disruption, I hope to keep my
website on line at its usual URL. I will do my best to update the
'Retrospective' webpages regularly, and I will respond as often as I can to
incoming e-mail enquiries, 'Welsh Ancestor List' submissions, and
'Retrospective Images of Wales' requests.
I will add further progress reports, here on this 'Website News' webpage,
whenever possible.
---------------
I shall contribute to the Powys List as often as time allows.
Kind regards,
John
