Hi Roger,
I have found the following via Findmypast, but you may have all this facts already.
While Breconshire Baptisms lists the daughter as Gwenllian Moses, you can find her listed
as Gwenllian John (which would have been the patronymic) in Wales Births and Baptisms
(baptised Llywel 5 December 1800, daughter of John Moses and Gwenllian. There is an
earlier Gwenllian Moses with the same parents baptised at Llywel on 16 Sept. 1796.
Breconshire Marriages and Banns shows a Gwenllian (or 'Gwenlian') Moses marries a
Rowland Llewellyn (or Llewelyn) on 26 July 1820 (Banns 2,9 and 16 July) at Llywel, but the
records do not state whether she was a spinster or a widow, and no is parentage given (but
a John Moses is one of the witnesses). Could this Gwenllian be the daughter rather than
the widowed mother?
There is a marriage of [another?] Gwenllian Moses (of full age, spinster, servant,
daughter of John Moses) and a Thomas Williams in Llywel in 1844 (wedding 14 June; banns 26
May); one of the witnesses is a David Moses.
In the 1841 census there is a 'Gwenllian Lewelin' aged 35 (ages were rounded down
in this census) in Cantref (near Brecon) living with a Lewelin Lewelin (sic) aged 40 (both
born in Breconshire) and several children, including a Thomas. Someone who may be this
Thomas (listed as born in Trecastle, which is near Llywel) is a Coker in Llangattock in
1871, and has a son called Rowland - so there people may be worth a look.
Best wishes,
Shirley

Can you help me trace Gwen, please.
Gwenllian Moses was born 1800 in Bwysfa, (a farm in Llywel ph.), Trecastle,
Breconshire. She was the daughter of John Moses (1762-1807) and Gwenllian
Price (1761-1823). Following John's death in 1807 Gwenllian(Price)
eventually remarried to Rowland Llewellyn in St. David's Church, Llywel in
1827.
I have tried both Moses and Llewellyn as a surname for Gwen with no results.
Here's hoping
