When you go to FMP's search page you should see a button on the right hand side which
was "a-z of record sets".
Click on that and in the next page type in "cardigan" into the search bar and
you will be offered 4 data sets:
Cardigan Banns,Cardigan Baptisms,Cardigan Burials,Cardigan Marriages
These records are for the parish churches i.e. Anglican records. They don't cover non
conformist chapels.
Before they changed their system last year you could find a list of what parishes are
covered and what date range, as not all parishes are included, and the date range varies.
I have a spread sheet (excel file) which shows what used to be there for all Welsh
counties and will happily share it with anyone wanting a copy.

Subject: [POWYS] re Cardiganshire records
Hi,
Can anyone guide me re Cardiganshire Records. I have looked on Findmypast
but really very sketchy unless I am looking in the wrong place
I have finally located Evan Jenkins born 1831 at Aberyswyth son of Richard
Jenkins born c 1789 a shoemaker and his wife Elizabeth. It appears they
also had a son David born 1827 and a son Richard born 1824.
Any suggestions
Cheers Marilyn from Western Australia
