Newbrdge-on-Wye about that time that I well remenber, and at St Harmon in

perhaps meant for the Elan Valley Dams, that were well guarded then with AA
Guns,etc.ll
Now we are all going back to a Streetlight Blackout in all Powys, that is
much too far really. Will Cardiff and Swansea do the same???
Hello everyone
My mother has always maintained that because Caersws is in a valley
surrounded by hills, it is what saved the village in WWII from being bombed because
the valley would be shrouded in mist and the bombers couldn't see the
village. How true it is I don't know?
