Two postscripts here:
(1) I had ordered several MI's in the past -- when they listed them on the
GenFair site -- and I have those on my shelf. I just don't have the one for
Ceri/Kerry's St. Michael.
(2) I don't want to order overseas without some mechanism to protect me. I
contacted another regional genealogical society a few months ago about some
things I wanted to order, and asked them to calculate the international
postage. I went back and forth with the man three times, because he left an item
off the order, and he told me he'd find out the postage and get back to me.
I never heard from him again. Needless to say, I would not feel any
confidence about his ability to complete my order properly, and, without the charge
card protecting me and able to issue a refund, I'd be just plain out of luck.
I can use PayPal to pay someone, even, as that still allows me some
protection.
Does anyone happen to know whether this information is on the FFGS version
of the FindMyPast website? I was looking at that a while ago.
In the midst of all of this ... Shirley, I received your kind offer, and I
would greatly appreciate any assistance you can give me with this one family
group. I don't think there are many.
