BELLEVIEW, LLAGENNITH
NOTICE is hereby given, that this FARM has been disposed of by Private
Contract. BERRINGTON and JENKIN, Vendor's Solicitors, Swansea, 10th March,
1840.
A CAUTION
The late Thomas LEYSON, of Ystrad, Near Swansea.
The Public are hereby cautioned, by Dr. Frederick BEAVAN, the Heir at Law of
a Moiety of the Ystrad-Estate, late in the possession of Thomas LEYSON, that
Thomas LEYSON had no power to dispose of by will a Moiety of that Estate,
therefore the persons whom Mr. LEYSON has appointed as Trustees and
Executors (Mr. VOSS, Banker, Swansea, Mr. R.P. LEYSON, Surgeon, Neath, and
Mr. Robert EVANS, Timber Merchant, Neath), cannot give a legal Title.
FREDERICK BEAVAN, Blanchland, by Hexham, Northumberland, March 6, 1840.
Transcriber's note - this is interesting to me as Dr Beavan's wife was the
daughter of Thomas Leyson and she was a beneficiary under his Will. Very
mysterious.
CARDIFF

required to meet some recent arrangements respecting the New Wharfs, the
Marquis of Bute's Harbour Trustees have resolved to REMIT for the present
all WHARFAGE DUES on VESSELS frequenting the Port. W.M. DAVIES , Collector.
